LLC names you check are looked up, then forgotten.

The LLC names you check

The check runs in your browser. When the state you pick is one whose register we copy (Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, DC, Iowa, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas or Virginia), the name and state also go to our server so it can search that copy for registered names like yours. In Alabama, Arkansas, Hawaii, Idaho, Kentucky, New Jersey and North Dakota, our server instead asks the state's own business name search for the first words of your LLC name and returns its answer, so the request reaches the state from our server rather than your browser. Nothing you type is saved, and it's kept out of our server's logs.

Domain lookups

To show whether matching .com, .net and .co domains exist, your browser sends those domain names to Cloudflare's public DNS-over-HTTPS service (cloudflare-dns.com), which handles them under its own privacy policy.

Serving the site

Cloudflare delivers the site and hosts our server. It receives standard connection details such as IP addresses, requested addresses and browser headers in order to serve and protect them. Fonts and scripts come from this domain.

Traffic counts

No analytics script runs on the site. We see only Cloudflare's overall figures for the domain, like the number of requests per country.
